Hi!  I'm Miss Julie, the Children's Minister at Faith Baptist Church.  I've had times in my life, from childhood experiences, when I felt completely worthless.  That is not something I want any of the children who walk through our doors to feel, so my personal vision is:  “Incorporating my passions of God, children, and music to teach children of their worth in God’s eyes and His plan for them in the world.”

 I do realize that I'm not only in contact with the children at Faith Baptist, but parents, volunteers, and the general congregation, so my ministry vision is:

"To create a ministry environment for volunteers, children, and families that leads to a greater passion for Christ, worship, leadership, and outreach."

The goal of Children's Ministry is to partner with parents in teaching our children to come to God.  We aim to introduce children to Christ and impart the desire to strive to grow to be more like Christ.  We want all children to walk with God, delight in the Word of God, prosper and bear spiritual fruit, and stand righteous on the day of judgment (based on Psalm 1).  Faith Kids learn about God's character and His plan for them through Bible stories, prayer, Bible memory, music, and worship in a child-friendly environment so they can carry it forth to future generations.
